Brand Identity Web Design & Build Cybersecurity 0 → 1

We didn't redesign Keraunos. We built it from nothing.

No company, no name, no visual language — just an idea for a threat intelligence firm. Nexara built the brand, the identity system, and the live site end to end, then watched it grow into an operation that now serves clients across multiple continents.

The Brief

Nothing existed yet. That was the point.

Most projects start with an existing business that needs a better site. Keraunos started with a gap in the market and a founder who understood cybersecurity but hadn't yet named, positioned, or built anything. Nexara's job wasn't to improve a brand — it was to create one from a blank page and take it all the way to a live, functioning site.

What we started with

A concept: applied threat intelligence and digital defense, aimed at organizations that need a serious security partner rather than a generic IT vendor. No name, no logo, no color story, no copy, no site.

What the brand needed to say

Precision without theater. Cybersecurity marketing tends to lean on stock-photo hackers and vague fear language. Keraunos needed to feel like an operations room — technical, controlled, and quietly confident.

What We Built

Every layer of the brand, built in-house.

Naming, identity, interface language, and the production site — Nexara handled the full stack of decisions a new company usually has to make piecemeal across multiple vendors.

Foundation

Naming & positioning

Keraunos — from the Greek word for thunderbolt — was chosen to signal speed and decisive response, the two things clients actually want from a threat intelligence partner. Positioning was built around applied intelligence rather than theoretical risk scoring.

Identity system

A visual language built for a security operations feel

A near-black surface system, a single signal-red accent used sparingly, and a lightning-bolt mark that doubles as a data glyph. HUD-style coordinates, sensor-ring motifs, and monospace status readouts were designed to make the interface feel instrumented — like a live system, not a brochure.

Production build

A fully built, responsive site

The identity system was carried through into a complete site: services, process, capabilities, and a working contact flow — built responsive from the ground up, with the same restraint applied to motion and layout as to color.

Where it stands

A brand now operating globally

Keraunos went from a founder's idea to a live company with an international client base. Nexara built the vehicle; the credibility that followed is the brand doing its job.

Design Details

Small decisions that add up to trust.

Nothing in the Keraunos identity is decorative. Every recurring element was chosen because it reinforces the same idea: this is a company that watches closely and responds fast.

Live-system feel

HUD-style coordinates and status readouts in the corners of the page make the site feel monitored in real time, even though it's static — the interface tells you this company is always watching.

A mark that means something

The lightning-bolt wordmark isn't just a logo — it's reused as a signal glyph throughout the interface, tying the brand name directly back to speed and detection.

One color, used with discipline

Signal red appears only where it matters — status indicators, key data points, the primary action — so it keeps its urgency instead of becoming wallpaper.

A brand doesn't need a history to earn trust on day one. It needs every detail to agree with every other detail. — Nexara, on the Keraunos build
